My Apologies.
My love, forgive me
If I can't afford to cop you fancy things
Diamond rings,
Sports Cars, Mansions -- sweet nothings.
My love, today I may not have anything to give,
And I might not reach the stars as I live,
But for you, someday I will,
And I'll be able to get you the moon then;
For what's not ours now may be too big,
Yet someday it'll be too small to be our dream.
Yet someday it'll be too small to be our dream.
If I can only give you everything,
That's desired of every detail of your perfectly shaped being,
Or what your perpetually glistening eyes could eye
Yet I only have my heart, humble and meek
--- to offer, to give.
My love, and if the day so that my heart fails arrives,
I'd ask the hands of our clock, even the sands of time
Or the God of the four leaf clover, to turn back, reverse, rewind,
And bring me back to the time, where my heart still beats
in unison with yours.
And this clock work will be frozen, thrown to the abyss
And be lost forever,
-- That I may be with you, Always.
