Hey, Survivor!
Hey you, yes you, Hi!
Have you ever tried to feel so alone?
That feeling of loneliness that consumes?
That tingling in your mind that you are always on your own?
When you think nobody is real
That you scream for a hand so loud in your head,
Yet no one hears you plead for help,
That everything is temporary, like after a long day of distraction,
You get caught up in your bed, tossing and turning,
Questioning yourself, "When will I be happy?"
Or yet, "When will this end?"
Feel me now? Keep reading.
There are days when you think the pain won't end
And still, be in the company of others thinking you could blend
Yet, what you're searching for is a cure,
But a cover up, is what you've procured.
And you've never needed sympathy.
For sympathy is for the bereaved,
And nothing is there to grieve.
If you've read this far, I am proud of you.
For everyday is a survival mission for me and you
Sometimes it gets hard, and the levels escalate fast,
Yet we managed to solve the things needed to.
However, I am proud to say I can get up everyday,
Even though everyday is a war,
A war that can never be won,
But a war that can be bravely fought, by me and you.
This might be getting so long,
But at the end of the day, I hope he/she says, "I'll be happy"
But who manages to say, "I am Worthy!".
