Purple Nights

Roses are Red,

Violets are Blue,

Under the night sky there I lay,

Calm, secured, knowing you're there too

Wishing someday I'll be with,

Under the skies on a purple night,
Darkness has evaded our sights,
Galaxies & Stars twinkled, like Christmas lights
Got everything to fear, knowing the universe is wide,
That this world may be full of shite,
But when you held me tight, and told me it's gonna be alright.
Everything seemed so bright, that I could only watch the dancing night lights unite

Here I lay, holding you, with my head on your shoulder
Knowing tomorrow is not constant, as ever,
As time is our friend, as never
As we may change, and every moment has a timer,

For now, however,

Let me kiss you 'til this night is over

Let me be with you, 'til we can't be together

For tonight, let me watch the stars with you, and this I'll cherish, forever.
